XAvenger is an arcade game developed by Division Studios. The game is a basic shoot-them-up, in which you control an aircraft moving inside structures trying to repel an alien invasion. Apparently, some Orion invaders have attacked the Earth. You pilot XAvenger, an advanced aircraft that is the last hope for human salvation.
At the first sight, you will notice that although the game only has two dimensions, the objects have three, most of them at least. That is a good point for XAvenger, and the graphics are good for an arcade game. XAvenger also features a good level design and interesting enemies, making things more difficult and challenging for you. The tradition of this kind of arcade games goes back a long time, and this game will certainly appeal fans of this kind of games.
However, the game sometimes felt too slow. Even if the graphics ran smooth, the feel of the aircraft is sluggish. Aiming also requires a lot of practice, to know exactly where you are looking and where you want to shoot. In all, the game is a special one, some may like it and some may not. You can try it out free of charge for an hour to see if you like it. |
